ONDREJ VODICKA

Independent game designer and the creator of Epochia. Inspired by his travels to historical sites across the Mediterranean and a deep passion for ancient civilizations, Ondrej spent almost two years designing, testing, and refining every mechanic, card, and rule — turning a personal vision into a rich tabletop experience dedicated to bringing the ancient world to players everywhere.

As the game grew, so did the scope of what it could become — and with that came the honest realization that some things were simply beyond what one person could do alone. That led Ondrej to seek out talented studios and individuals who shared his vision, and together they helped shape Epochia into something far greater than he could have built on his own. It truly became a collaborative achievement, and one he's incredibly proud of.

Behind every card, illustration, and mechanic is a group of incredibly talented people who believed in this project and gave it their best. Here are the minds and hands that helped build the world of Epochia.

The creative studio behind the illustrations that give Epochia its soul. Rizal and his team went far beyond typical game art — working directly from real photographs and historical research to craft civilization portraits, ancient landmarks, card art, and thematic illustrations that are as authentic as they are stunning. Their dedication to getting every detail right is what transforms Epochia from a game into a living, breathing world.
